We went camping this last week. It was a lot of fun to take a few days off work and just enjoy the great outdoors. We drove Aaron's truck and went into Round Park where we found the perfect camping spot off the road but right beside the stream. We brought some fly poles and went fishing all monday. We only had to go a few a feet away from camp before we started catching fish. Given they were all really small but they were biting like crazy. Aaron probably caught fifteen fish that day.
Monday night, Mom and Dad Snow joined us for supper and stayed over night. Tuesday morning we got up early and headed to East Park for some lake fishing. We had to go all the way to the North side of the lake before we got any bites but after that we did really well. Mom and I tied with 8 fish at the end of the day, Aaron with 4 and Dad, well he didn't have any luck at all. We brought home 9 and they were all between 10" and 14". It was a great trip.
We loaded the whole pickup just to go camping. It is amazing what one will pack when you know you have room.
Yes, Aaron does have a fish on the line. That just shows you how small the stream fish really were. Mine only looks big because we used trick photography.
