This past week we had the chance to go to Denver and visit my sister Rebekah and her kids during our spring break. We have been looking forward to this since school started. We arrived late Friday night and then spent Saturday at the Denver Art Museum.
This is the exterior of the building. Aaron wanted to go just so he could see the building. It doesn't have a single vertical wall. It is pretty amazing.
This is a huge statue outside of the building. The kids had a lot of fun playing on it.
This Aaron with BrookLyn and William at one of the the pre-colombian exhibits. They had displays from all around the world as well as some originals of Monet and Picasso. They were all really interesting.
This is the view from one of the window. I decided to try and be a little artisitic on my own. I think it looks kind of cool.
Sunday evening we played a game of baseball with the kids. It was more of throw the ball back and forth while waiting for the person to get a good hit in but it was a beautiful evening and it was nice just to be outside for a bit. This is BrookLyn playing equipment manager.
And poor Jeanette got so tuckered out she simply fell asleep.

Monday we went and wondered around downtown for the day. This is 16th street. The entire street is basically one really long strip mall. There were some interesting stores, and we enjoyed just window shopping for the most part.
That evening we went to Texas De Brazil. Aaron ate at this restaurant in Orlando on his missions and never misses an oppotunity to talk about it. When he found out there was one in Denver there was no stopping him from finding a way to eat there.
This is the salad bar. It goes all the way around the very ornate floral arrangement and is an example of how nice the restuarant is. If you are looking for a really nice meal with a lot of good meat this is the place to go. But, it is pretty pricey so it is definataly not a family meal. It was really good food though and the service was impressive as well.

Hey guys! Of course you can add us to your blog list, as long as we can add you to ours. :) Sounds like things are going well. I hope that things keep going that way. We are just trying to keep both our babies healthy and happy.
