Friends of the NRA Banquet

Because Aaron is the president of the USU sports shooting club here in Logan, we had the chance to help with the FNRA (Friends of the NRA) banquet last Saturday. We showed up that morning and were there till about 1:30 setting up for the silent auction as well as setting up tables and such. That evening we helped take down information for the buyers in the live auction. It was a really fun evening and we got in free! For all of our help we ended up getting a meals provided by Coppermill's, which was wonderful, and free tickets for the general raffel and the high roller raffel. They were incredible generous. Between different people we had nearly 100 tickets between the two of us. But luck was with only one of us. I ended up winning everything we took home and Aaron, well he was just lucky to have me around. I ended up winning a small propane camp stove, a Browning fishing pole, $100 gift certificate to a furniture store in town, and a free alignment for our car, which we needed. Go Me!

However, Aaron did get to go up and recieve a check for $1,500 for the Shooting Club from the FNRA to get shot guns for the club, and he made a lot of really good contacts for the future. Overall it was a great night and we really enjoyed ourselves. Here's the picture of Aaron getting his check.
