Summer Fun

So I have been planning on updating our blog for a while but due to Aaron starting school and using the computer more and then the computer died on us, yes it is dead as a doornail, I haven't been able to update. (Yes, we are looking for another laptop if anyone is aware of any).

First off Aaron turned 24! Amazing that that another year has passes so quickly. His birthday weekend went well and we spent it at his brother's house where Aaron got to use his new drill (from my parents, Thanks Dad, and Mom). We forgot the camera and the only pictures I got are on my phone which I don't have now.
Also I've been growing a potted tomato plant this year. It's the only thing fresh I've grown all year, however my mom sent some fresh veggies up and I made a whole meal from it. I was so pleased I took a picture of it. The casserole is a zuchine casserole, we had a cucumber salad. We got the corn from my good friend Melanie, and I had the homegrown tomatoes for the hamburgers. Plus zuccine bread for dessert. Yum, Yum.

I also found time one weekend to make dilly beans. Aaron couldn't wait any longer and opened a jar yesterday. They were successful. I'm not much of a pickle person so this was for my hubby.

For Labor Day weekend we went up to Fort Bridger for the traditional Rendevouz. We had a wonderful time as always and I got to hang out with my wonderful friend Katie, and her little girl Lilly. They live in Ceder City now so we don't cross paths much so we always get to see eachother at Rendevouz. I've convinced Aaron to start dressing up. But this year he nixed the kilt. Maybe another year. Overall it was a blast.

Katie, Lilly, and Me. Aaron was so glad I was looking a little pregnant.
