Happy Easter everyone! We had a pretty low key Easter, we watched conference (which was wonderful) and the Easter bunny stopped by with a few Easter eggs of candy. James got an egg however since he can't eat it I guess I'll have to.
We then had a good friend over with her daughter to color eggs with us. Although non of us are all that creative Aaron did make a USU egg that turned out well.
As for the new discovery... Our friend Christine (who colored eggs with us) introduced us to a great new recipe to use all of those boiled eggs. You just make a basic cream gravy with butter, flour, milk and salt and pepper then slice some boiled eggs and warm them in the gravy. Serve over toast. We broke the bread into pieces and ate it in a bowl. It was super easy and fast plus we used some of the eggs. We made a 2 cup batch of gravy with 5 eggs. You could use a country gravy mix as well if you don't make gravy from scratch.
