Graduation!

Last Saturday Aaron graduated with his bachelors degree in Civil Engineering! It was a great day and the weather was perfect for the occasion. We started the morning off with the walk from the Quad to the Spectrum. It was neat because this time they had bagpipes in front which they did not have for mine.
We then attended the graduation ceremony for the entire school. I brought James with us to this ceremony and he did pretty well. Given we were walking around the hall or picking up rocks outside most of the time but I got the gist of what the speakers were saying.
We then had the afternoon ceremony where Aaron received his empty (but soon to be filled) diploma cover. I left James at home taking a nap with a wonderful neighbor so I could actually watch the ceremony. I was so proud of Aaron and I will admit I did almost cry a couple of time thinking about how hard he has worked to over the past 6 years to earn this. We had a lot of family support and it was wonderful for everyone to be there.
After the diploma ceremony we all headed down to Adams Park for a luncheon. It was such a beautiful day and after lunch we enjoyed the weather by throwing the ball around a bit. It was a good thing there were two balls because James wanted one all the time. He enjoyed trying to play catch with Dad. We then got to go to Bear Lake to spend the night where James loved swimming the pool. We were there for an hour and he was still mad when we left even though it was bed time. It was a perfect weekend and we were so grateful for the support.

Congratulations, AJ! We're sorry we didn't make it up to Logan that day.
