Weekend Trip

If now finally is starting feel like summer! We are still battling the rain but the sun is now winning out most days. We had a chance to go to Green River this past weekend for Aaron's nieces baptism. It ended up being a really good weekend despite the fact that James was both sick and teething with molars at the same time, meaning he was very temperamental and clingy. On the drive up we passed a rock slide that must have happened just moments before because there was a man just pulled over and trying to clear it. Aaron stopped and helped him clear it and meanwhile I got some good pictures of the effect all of this rain is having. It was pretty impressive. You can see all the water running in this one. It has saturated the entire layer of soil and is running out.

The actual boulders. It was definitely a two man job.
Once we got to Green River we got to spend a great weekend with family and attending the baptism. But did I actually get any pictures of the girl of the hour, No, go figure. I did however get a picture of the only thing that kept James happy all weekend; the dog. If the dog was around he was happy. Fortunately Dash and Daisy are really good with him. It was nice to have one thing distracting him from his crankiness. We made it home Sunday evening and although we had a great visit we were glad to be home. Especially James he missed sleeping in his own room and crib it was the first thing he ran to when we got home. I think we was afraid he was going to have to keep sleeping in the travel crib.
