Happy Girl!

This last week has been a bit of a crazy one for Madie. She was supposed to get tubes in but due to the doctors not being able to get an IV line in before they sedated her (because of the arrhythmia) they didn't go through the the operation and we are not going down to Primaries for the procedure. She has had running ear infections for the past 5 weeks that we know of and probably longer. The few days after not getting the tubes in I think have been the worst yet for her ears. Before she acted pretty normal most of the time, but for about 4 or 5 days she didn't sleep well, didn't eat well, was super fussy when you laid her down, and just wasn't feeling so hot. We really couldn't do much because she already had the anibiotics and ear drops the week before, and you can't give them two time consecutively without a few weeks off in between. Finally Monday afternoon she got really fussy and then crashed for her first real nap in days. When she woke up this is what we found. A happy baby. Since then ( I actually think her ear drum burst) She has been much better. And now she won't stop smiling. These have been from the past couple of days. And to add to that she laughed for the first time. Her is a video of what we could get. She had some much better laughs before but of course the performance for the camera isn't nearly as good.
