Coming May 2013.......
Our new home! After long process of not finding any homes that were affordable/not short sale/foreclosed in the area we were wanting to move to, our realtor/my uncle suggested looking into building. After some crazy weeks in January we decided it was the best option for our long term goals. It is big enough that if we have to stay there for the next 15 years we can but we are hoping that in 5 years or so we can move to not so much a bigger house but more acreage for our kids to do 4-H and such. But for now it is just what we need. So without further delay....
The hole for our foundation!
NOTE: In case you were wondering people here in Boise do not have basements if you were actually expecting much of a hole. I would love one but the water table is too high in the area which is why everyone has 2 stories above ground.
Exciting I know. Well at least for us.
The house beside it was started a week and a half ago. Our Estimated finishing date is May 24th. I'm not sure where that will put closing but the beginning of June for sure! The next picture you see of the house will be in it's completed form!

You might have to put pictures up of it going up. We have a high water table too and yet we have a partial basement. The neighbors say it floods so it has been kept unfinished.
