Our First Home

Well we survived. I wasn't sure if we were going to make it but we did. We got the news that we could close on Wednesday the 29th. We had to be out of our apartment on the 31st so it was pushing it. We went in Wednesday afternoon to sign the papers and everything was going smoothly until we had to give them our ID's. Apparently mine had expired. Oops! Without a valid ID the papers couldn't go through. It was too late to head to the DMV that night so I spent the entire night studying and got up bright and early to be the first one at the driver's license office. I was there 10 minutes early and was the 3rd one in line out of 20 by the time the doors opened. Fortunately I passed the test no problem and was able to get my new Idaho valid license before the 10 AM deadline for that days bank processing.

We spent Thursday night moving and managed with the help of some friends and family to get everything to the house that night. I spent all Friday cleaning our apartment with some help and we managed to get checked out in time to leave for our trip to Wyoming (Next Post). It certainly was crazy but it we are glad to be in.

 Madie and James really liked helping me clean up around the place. 

 But best of all was getting into our home.
