I love Halloween! It really is one of my favorite holidays. I am all about pumpkin carving, parties, costumes, and the candy. This year we were able to get all of them in. We started out with a family Halloween party with some my cousins and Aunt.
James had a great time with all the cousins and playing all the games but by bed time he was worn out and ready to head home.
We got our pumpkin carving in. Madie really enjoyed digging out all the insides while James had more fun drawing the faces for me to cut out. He decided he needed a pirate scary pumpkin so this is the result. The best part of this is that when I took this picture the pumpkins started out on his lap but when I looked at it after he had turned into a pumpkin head.
After a month of James asking me if it was Halloween yet it finally came and everyone was thrilled!
We had quite the crew of pirates around the house.

We had a great time Halloween night and had some friends over for dinner and then let the kids go trick-or-treating together. I of course totally forgot to get any pictures of the party, guess we were just having too much fun. These kids we ready to get out to the candy. I just took Madie up and down the block while Aaron took James for the long haul around the entire neighborhood. Madie was not to happy to come home however, once she realized we had a ever ending stream of trick-or-treaters at our door for her to greet and wave at she was very happy to be home.
James was thrilled to get home and start counting his loot as were the parents who cashed in on some parent tax.
