May Fun

Even though things have been crazy around here we have had some fun too. James had his first piano recital and did great! He has done so great taking piano lessons, I wasn't sure how well things would go with me as his teacher but it has been so much fun. He really has a love for playing music and is constantly out doing himself.

This past month he learned a simplified version of Book of Mormon Stories with just the melody. I played a duet with him playing the chords on the left hand and we played it in Church together (it was part of a longer arrangement I wrote). Well he wasn't satisfied with just playing the melody anymore so he started working on the left hand. In a week of practicing he can now play the entire song with both hands (still some what simplified from the primary version but still pretty impressive)

James also started up T-Ball again. He has improved so much this season . Aaron was his assistant coach and he throwing has really improved as well as the fundamentals of the game (the kids aren't all hoarding the ball when the are on the field anymore which is pretty good for T-ball :) )

Levi got his first hair cut!  It was getting pretty crazy and him wanting to constantly drag food through it wasn't helping so when Aaron lined out the other boys for a summer cut Levi got lined up with them!

 Titus is pretty much in some kind of superhero cape or mask all day.

 This is obviously before the hair cut but I just can't get enough of this cute kid.

And to add to the fun Aaron finished up my birthday bench he made by upholstering it for me. He spent hour pounding in every single tack but it sure looks amazing!
