Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! This post may be a little late but we are getting there. We had a wonderful Christmas visiting lots of family which of course included lots of traveling. Fortunately, the kids seem to have done well with it. W e started out traveling to Lyman to see Aaron's mom. There James got his first reminder of how to open presents. It took a little coaxing but he got the hang of it pretty quickly. He got a bike/scooter and had not problem catching on. He spent all the next morning scooting around the kitchen. I think it is a hit. Madie got a super cute cabbage patch doll that I swear it a her exact copy in doll form (picture to come). I think this had to be my favorite present for her of all. I'm not sure what she thinks. Next we headed to Vernal to spend Christmas. We had the Christmas Eve party with all the aunts and uncles. Santa Clause even made a surprise visit even though James wouldn't have much to do with him. He even tried to return the orange he gave him. I don't think he trusted it. Madeline didn't seem to mind it. We also did the nativity and James was a sheep. He did very well. After the party we hung the stockings and went to bed. These are a few pictures of Christmas morning. We were all spoiled with Aaron getting a Kinect and games, cologne, a new (and much needed) shower head, and plenty of sharp looking clothes for future job interviews(so we hope). Aaron gave me a Kindle Fire (Yes I love it!) as well as a cake decorating starter kit, and Aaron's mom gave me a day at the spa. James got waaay to many toys, loving them all, and topped it all with a huge table train set. Madeline got new toys, clothes including a new Christmas dress I made for her, and a bumbo chair. We of course had to get family pictures. The rest of the week has been spent visiting family, playing with our new toys, and relaxing. It has been a wonderful break.
