It has been a while in coming but James has finally decided to take off on his own. He has been walking with assistance of my fingers and behind his truck for months now but would always sit down if he was ever left without support. This past weekend we went to Aaron's dad's house for a few days and in James interest of their house he spent most of the time there walking/running around with the assistance of my fingers. When we got home Tuesday night we were getting ready for dinner when I look up and James is walking towards me. He took about 10 steps. Since then he has decided he is ready to head out on his own. He can now walk almost all the way across the apartment without falling and is always right back up and headed somewhere else (most of this is in a run). It is so much fun to see him toddling around the house. I love watching him grow up but it is all going much too quickly.

Good for him! Watch out though there will come a day when you wonder why you were ever so excited for him to be so mobile :)

It won't be long before he discovers the run and make a mess game. Have fun keeping up with him. :)
