Birthday Bash

This past week James turned 1! We even made it without any major injuries. We celebrated his birthday last Thursday with Aaron's family. We did a joint birthday party with his nephew Tayler who was turning 9 on Saturday. We had a winter/Aggie themed party. We started out with dinner and moved to presents so we would have room for cake and ice cream later. James got a lot of toys. He loves them all and kept bringing them to me so I would take them out of their boxes. James got a handmade chair from Grandma and Grandpa Snow. We tried getting a good picture of him sitting in it but he was so distracted during the party it was hard. After presents we had cake and ice cream. I thought the cakes turned out pretty well. James didn't know what to think of the cake he just kept poking it cautiously. For the adult portion of the party, we went to a USU basketball games. I had a wonderful neighbor of mine come over and watch the kids while we went to the game. I don't think James even knew I was gone he was so busy playing the cousins and getting them to push him around on his truck. The game was awesome as usual and we all had a great time. The kids enjoyed their movie and we enjoyed the time away at the game. Overall it was a wonderful day. Thanks to everyone who came. We are looking forward to another amazing year with our little man.
