I realized it had been a while since I updated and realized it was mostly because I have been terrible about taking pictures of anything we have done. Aaron is going crazy trying to get his master's project out of the way before school starts plus working nights at the movie theaters so we really enjoy when he is home for an evening/day. We have been trying to slide in some summer activities in on the side and hope to squeeze in more before school starts. Here are some of the things we have been up to.

We had a ward pinewood derby a few weeks ago. We had a lot of fun and James loved watching all of the cars go down. We decided to try and be adventurous/ creative and made a Segway. The only problem was that although it did stand up on it's own, it didn't make it down the track. The picture shows where it stopped half-way down the track. We think if we did some tweaking we could make it run well but we didn't have the time there. Aaron went ahead and raced a car he made on his mission (above end right). It did very well and came in third overall.

We also got to go to the Gardner Family Reunion out at Crystal Hot Springs for a day. We didn't take James swimming but he really enjoyed the little pool with all the water balls.

James and I also went to Vernal for 4 days this past week. It wasn't planned however, I was asked to play in a funeral for a close family friend. Aaron had to work so James and I headed out on our own. James loved being out on the farm as usual and loved having cousins to play with.

His newest and favorite discovery was my parents side-by-side. One ride in it and he was hooked. If he ever got into the garage you would find him up on the seat driving and if you came over to get him, he would slide over and try to put the seat belt on for a ride. He was ready to go at any moment.

Well we know what he wants for Christmas now. I wanted to go to Rose's funeral, but we were dealing with surgery. Glad to hear it was good and went well.
It's called a Ranger and I feel the same way towards it as James.
