Jeremy's Wedding

It seems that there will be no such thing as a dull weekend this summer. Which means that at least I will have a lot of posts because there is so much going on. This past weekend we made a trip down to Vernal for my brothers wedding. We originally planned on leaving Friday and driving down to Aaron's mom's house and staying the night there but instead we left Thursday after Aaron got off work. He told that morning he thought he would be getting home early so i ran around like crazy trying to get everything packed and ready since I was planning on doing most of it that evening when the kids went to bed. We still didn't leave until 5:30 and got into to Lyman around 12:30. It was a late night but worked well since the kids slept a good portion of the drive.

Friday was spent relaxing and visiting family. Aaron's sister Gentry just got back from North Carolina after being stationed with the army there for the past 2+ years. This also meant that we finally got to see Bridger again! He is 3 months younger than James and the last time we saw them was at his blessing 2 years ago. The boys hit it off like they had always known each other and we had a great time visiting.

Pretty much the entire time they played with cars, go figure. But fortunately they are both pretty good at trading and we made it through with minimal disagreements.
Madie was thrilled to have more attention and was pretty excited to hang out with her cousin Jade.
After a long day of driving through it wore everyone out, as you can see.
James and Grandma were also asleep at the time, and I shortly joined the sleeping household.
The next morning we headed out bright and early to the Red Canyon Lodge overlook for my brother's wedding. James was not thrilled to get into the car again and even when we got there it took a good 20 minutes for him to decided to cheer up. Meanwhile he just wanted Grandma or Grandpa Snow to hold him. The wedding itself was beautiful and it was a nice sunny day and not even too windy (a miracle in itself). We took pictures, went to the luncheon at the chapel in Dutch John, and headed back to Vernal for the BBQ/Reception that evening. It was truly a wonderful weekend with the family, although much too short for my liking. We were just glad we could make it and get to see so many people in such a short time. Congratulations Jeremy and Michelle! We are so happy for you.
Still not wanting to be there.
Madie got one of the bridesmaid flowers and had quite the enjoyable time, eating, playing, and well eating it.
Just enjoying the nice evening at the BBQ. (Thank you Liz and Ashley Clark for helping me make Madie's headband last minute!)
I had to take a picture of Madie's and my matching feet. You can't tell very well but her toes are painted too.
We tried to grab a quick family photo but as usual getting our kids to actual coorperate was another story and we didn't have a lot of time to work on it because Aaron was DJing and could only leave for a few minutes at a time. I guess we will try again later.

I can't believe how big my nieces are getting! WHAT! Aren't they all just beautiful though?
We finished the night off dancing. James ruled the dance floor and was dancing non-stop the entire time. He made sure that he danced with every girl he could find. It was a great time with some great people1
