Tonight we had the chance to go to the Merdian Speedway and enjoy a night of racing. James was thrilled! He pretty much cheered the cars on for the entire 2 1/2 hours we were there, in between plugging his ears. When he wasn't cheering he was dancing, clapping, or gawking at the cars in awe. Even better it was free! It was an activity provided by the Treasure Valley Down Syndrome Association. I'm not sure we would have even thought of ever going on our own. Madie wasn't to thrilled with the noise but put up with it until she finally crashed and went to sleep.
I wish we had a better picture of James. He really was super excited and had a great time.
It was a great break after a long week!
