Madeline's Birthday

Dear Madeline, 

I can't believe you are one already. A year ago we were in the mist of so much confusion and worry and yet now I am not quite sure why. I guess just learning about the unknown at that time was just a little scary to say the least. To step off the well path of typical parenthood was a direction just weren't quite sure where it would lead us. But now I have an answer, it takes us to the same place. The path may have a few more twists and turn, more time talking to doctors and learning medical terms you didn't know existed but in the end it leads you to great happiness and joy and the enormous feeling that you are very blessed to have such a wonderful child in your care. This year has been a big one for our family a lot of learning, a lot of change in so many ways, and a lot of trials for everyone. But your smile, your sweet spirit, and your constant determination made it so much easier to go through. Happy Birthday Dear Madeline Rose.
