Vernal Trip

We headed out to Vernal for the first part of two week trip. Aaron was supposed to work and be gone so we headed out of town. We all had a great time visiting my parents and getting some much needed farm time it. James loved feeding the horses every day and gathering the eggs from the chickens. He loves being on the farm. He was thrilled that Grandpa had to get some corning in because that meant James got to ride in some 'big trucks'

 James loved watching the trucks more than riding in the dump truck. He said it was 'too bumpy'. However I don't blame him, I thought it was pretty much myself.

 It was a really tiring day

James was so excited to ride horses. It was one of his favorite parts of the trip. 

                                    

With all the hard work comes a little bit of play. We headed down to the Green River where there was a great sand bar and inlet of water away from the main river flow. The kids had a great time although as usual I spent most of my time keeping Miss Madie from eating the sand. 

 James loves sharing his goldfish with Madie. He has been trying to get her to eat them since the day she was born so he is pretty please that she can actually eat them now.

We had a great time visiting Grandpa and Grandma Snow and the kids were sad to leave.
