Happy Valentine's Day

Well it may be a day late but we just wanted to say Happy Valentine's Day to all of our friends and family. We are so blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives who care for us. And I feel so blessed to have have two wonderful kids and an amazing husband.

 Last week we were having a rough day and I decided we needed something fun to do to get us back in a good mood so we cut out and decorated hearts to put on the wall and then did a Valentine's photo shoot. Madie had a great time as you can tell. James only allowed me 2 pictures before he wanted to go back to cutting out/apart hearts.

 These are the out takes and as you can see James was pretty focused on cutting his hearts. The other picture is James and his duck face. It cracks me up.

As for Aaron and I, we had the chance to go out and get sushi last night (great choice not a popular Valentine date place so we were in and out in 30 minutes! And still had great food and service). Then we headed over to the mall to find me a shirt and necklace to match my boots I got for Christmas. It was so much fun partially because I got 20 compliments if not more as were walking around from people commenting me on my boots. We were home by 9 to pick up the kids and put them to bed and finish the night off with a free redbox movie. 

I now have a beautiful turquoise necklace and a coral blouse to complete the outfit. Next date: Country Swing Dancing!!!
