We had the chance to go to Vernal last weekend for our nephew Lawson's blessing. It was quite the whilrwind of a trip but we managed to make the most of it.
We drove to Green River, WY Friday night to stay with Aaron's brother Jared it was pouring rain the entire drive and I was just glad it was Aaron driving and not me. Saturday, Tayler had his opening season baseball game. We were just glad that it didn't get rained out after our drive the previous evening.
Following the baseball game, we headed down to Vernal where we hung out at my sisters for a few hours and got ready for Jensen family pictures. Titus of course thought it would be hilarious to have a massive blowout and take a bath in Aunt Aaryn's sink. (Oh and it rained and snowed all the way to Vernal again)
Finally after getting all the kids ready, we headed out for pictures where we ended up sitting in the van for 1 1/2 hours watching Frozen while it rained some more. We finally decided to call it a night and try in the next day.
Sunday was Lawson's blessing. It was a wonderful blessing and we really enjoyed getting to see everyone. Titus had a great time meeting his new cousin even if it was mostly to try and roll over him or to try eating his very adorable tux.
Brothers anyone?
Just getting in some cousin time, Tayler and Titus
Madie loving on Bridger with Grandma Jensen
Following the blessing and luncheon we all got ready for family pictures again and this time we were successfull! Well mostly, the weather was perfect however Madie was so worn out from our travels and lack of a nap (even though we tried our best to convince her to take one earlier) decided she needed to fall asleep in the middle of taking family pictures. Fortunately she was awake for the first few settings so hopefully some of those turn out. If not I guess we will get some with our sleeping beauty (literally).
Love these cute cousins
We got home from pictures around 6 just in time for some mouthwatering Snow Beef steak. James couldn't leave Grandma and Grandpa Snows house without a horse ride first and a tour of the new camp trailer.
Monday we were up and traveling again, this time home with a quick pit stop in Lyman, WY to visit Grandma and Grandpa Miller. Then it was back on the road. After nearly 24 hours in the car in 3 days we were all very ready to be home. But we really enjoyed getting to see so many cousins and all the grandparents on our short trip.
