This month has been a busy month for us. Our house came under contract, we went house hunting, moved all of our belongings from Boise, found a house that is a bit of a fixer-upper but within our price range and way more house and acreage than any other houses we had seen yet, put a low ball offer on it with only Aaron having seen it, low ball offer was amazingly accepted, closed on our house and in between it all managed to continue with our fall/Halloween traditions.
We were able to attend the Jensen Pumpkin Festival. My mom does a display every year and this year the theme was Game On...
We decided to dress the kids up for the festival since we knew Aaron wasn't going to be able to make it back in time to go trick or treating . We had bat man, cat woman, and Robin. We had a great time looking at all the displays, playing the games, and eating cinnamon rolls.
For Family night we carved pumpkins. Titus had more fun trying to eat the pumpkins than carve them but that is okay.
James wanted a bat, Titus just wanted to see if we left any of the pumpkin seeds and Madie got a cat to match her Halloween outfit.
Halloween day ended up being pretty low key due to the fact that the James and Madie were sick. James spent the night before throwing up and was feeling better Halloween morning but Madie woke up and didn't want to do anything but drink pedialite and lay on the couch. It was so sad. They pretty much just watched TV for the first 3 hours in the morning trying to keep them still and some food down them. Madie would just follow me around and then lay at my feet. have me refill her drink and then shuffle back to the couch. She threw up a couple of times though and finally took a 4 hour nap. She woke up a little more chipper but I didn't dare take her trick or treating and around the babies that she can't keep her hands off of. When she saw me getting ready she kept signing 'cat' for her costume so we dressed her up too. She loved it!
While Madie stayed home with Grandma and Grandpa to help greet the 2 trick or treaters they had, we went up to Vernal and met up with Aaron's sister Joslin and Gentry to go trick or treating. The boys had a great time together and got plenty of time out knocking the doors and getting candy.
Uncle Ammon showed up and gave Jame a bit of a scare but once he realized who it was underneath he knew that Batman could beat him :)
The whole family Batman, Robin, Bat
woman (without her vest) and me as Harly Quinn.
