Madie is 3

So this post was supposed to be done at Madie's birthday but with all the craziness going on with house hunting, selling, and etc. it has taken a while to get up.

Madie is so much fun of late. She is a spit fire for sure with an opinion on about everything and she lets you know it. Madie is talking like crazy. She has over 300 signs and says most of them however not all of them are understandable to other people. My favorite has to be when she tries to say 'seriously' I didn't realized I used it so much but she has picked up on it. It basically sounds like 'ser-si' but I love it. If you don't notice from the picture below she can also have a attitude when she says it.

Madie loves Frozen. She goes crazy if we ever pass anything with Elsa on it and shouts 'Selsa! Selse!" She sings along with all the songs and shouts any of the exclaimations right on cue in the movie. She throws a fit if we watch anything else in the van.

Madie loves singing and signing the ABC's. If she sees letters on anything she starts signing them. E is her favorite letter and purple is her favorite color.

Madie loved to color she will sit on her stool and look through her colors saying 'purple, purple, purple' pick one (any color not just purple). Scribble for a few seconds and then start over. You just have to stay in a close proximity because she still thinks that every once in a while nibbling on a crayon is a good idea that and dropping them all over the floor is she can't get them back in the box.

She is also pretty good at making messes in the rest of the house. My dad has taken to affectionately calling her our 'domestic terrorist' because you never know what she will be getting into next. I just went to the bathroom for a few minutes when this particular occurrence too place.

Madie is still a picky eater. Some days I think she survives on applesauce, yogurt, and grahm crackers. getting her to try new foods is nearly impossible but every once in a while she will surprise you and have 4 servings of something she would never eat before.

On the health end of things she is doing great. The chaos of moving and living transit for the past few months have put some of her regular check-ups behind but we are slowing getting things back in order again. She is due for another set of tubes in her ears and to have her tonsils and adenoids removed. We just have to wait to get all the change of insurances back to normal first. She is super healthy and every thing in the heart department is fantastic. She has a slight stigmatism in one eye so glasses look like they will be coming eventually but for now we are glasses free. She was doing really great with her hearing aids but until we get her tubes replaced they just give her a lot of feedback and aren't doing much good.

Madie truly brings us so much joy in our lives. She is so tender and sweet. She loves Titus and James and wants to be with them all the time. When I drop James off at preschool she is so sad the entire time he is gone. Even when is running crazy she can always find a way to make you smile. We are so glad to have her in our family.
