This year we told James that we weren't going to do a birthday party and instead he could pick friend and go someplace fun. He picked the Aquarium and his cousin Bridger. We celebrated his birthday a few days early so we could do everything at the same time. James chose a fish theme for everything. A fish birthday cake, fish sticks for lunch, fish jello... you get the point.
After a very fishy lunch we let James open some presents. Aunt Gentry gave him some silly face glasses.
Opening presents.
After presents it was finally time for cake!
The rest of the afternoon was spent at the aquarium. James loved the sharks and the penguins and the turtle he came home and named Turtlelee..? He had a great birthday and can't wait to be 5 in a few days.
I can't believe he is five already. James has such a fun personality. He is always on the go and ready for some adventure for the day. We are so blessed to have him in our family.

That fish cake was so cute all Skittled up and colorful. Clever way to cover his Skittle request with a fish theme
