Happy Valentines

We had a great Valentine's day this year. It was pretty low key compared to some years but it was just what I needed.  The week of Valentine's we took our annual Valentine's day card pictures with the kids. It was both a lot of fun and incredibly hectic at the same time. I have given up getting a picture with all 2 of my kids in it. At least all 3 looking happy. So we pretty much stick to indivuals and then collage them together. This is some from this years photo shoot. Both the valentine and some fun shots as well

 Titus loves making this face at me why I don't know. But I think it is hilarious and love his sense of humor already developing.

On the day of Valentines we spent the day building a new loft/bunkbed for James (pictures to come) so he and Titus can actually share a room. As well as spending 6 hours smoking ribs for our Valentine dinner.

Aaron and I finished the night with a Tin Roof Sunday Cake I made (three layer cream/chocolate layered cake with peanut butter filling and chocolate frosting) and watching a movie. I am so grateful to have a wonderful family, an amazing husband who never lets a day go by without telling a dozen times or more that he loves me, and three amazing kids who are just as consistent about saying I love you (especially when I am frustrated) and making life wonderful.
