Halloween

We had so much celebrating Halloween this year. I love that as the kids get older how much fun they have at the holidays.

I think this is the first year that either Madie or James would actually clean out their pumkins.

Titus did NOT like the inside and said it was 'yucky' but had a great time singing in it once I cleaned it out.
Levi had no opinion of the pumpkin carving but we had a great time making faces with him.
Everyone and their pumpkins! A picture with all three kids looking and smiling!
The day before Halloween James had his schools Halloween parade. He was so excited to be in it. Titus was not entertained by the parade of costumes and would rather sit and eat his snacks but Madie cheered and 'woohoo'ed the entire time.
Since I didn't trust letting Madie go to school in a white princess Leia costume I let her pick from our costume box for her preschool Halloween party. She was going to wear her Elsa dress but after watching James' school parade she said she wanted to be a cat. I think she just wanted her face painted :) So we improvised and let her be a cat for school.
That night we had our ward's trunk-or-treat and chili cook off and got all the kids in their Star Wars costumes. Levi made an adorable Yoda!
James went as Luke Skywalker Madie as Princess Leia, and Titus as an Ewok. He refused to wear the Ewok hood the first night but we were able to convince him Saturday night to wear it trick or treating.
We had some friends over for dinner and then let the kids trick or treat together. They all had such a great time. Madie giggled as we ran from house to house trying to keep up with James and I wish I could have recorded her laugh because it was adorable. Titus just shouted 'candy, candy!" and James was always one house in front of us that I was glad he had his green light saber so I could keep track of him. We came home and watched Hotel Transylvania and had a great Halloween. However when we woke up Sunday morning we were grateful that November had finally arrived and we could slow down a little.
