4th of July

Well July is half way through and we have been taking advantage of the wonderful weather and the summer festivities. We weren't able to do a whole for the 4th of July because of Aaron's work schedule, however he did have Saturday off and we spent it at the Cache Valley Cruise in. We had never been before and it is the largest car show in Utah. They aren't kidding either. It was huge and we saw so many awesome cars. However I was a little disappointed that I couldn't find a single Ford Falcon (sorry Dad). But it was still fun, a little hot for me, but Aaron pushed James in the stroller most of the time to save me.

That night we had some neighbors over for homemade ice cream, fireworks, and games. We kept James up for the fireworks because we thought he would enjoy it but in the end all he wanted to do was go to bed. He watched a few and was interested and then just kept saying 'bed, bed, bed.' So I put him to bed and while everyone else watched the fireworks. The ice cream turned out great though and we had a lot of fun playing games after the little ones went to bed.

Sounds like you had a good family reunion and 4th of July. Too bad James got sick at the reunion. :( He sure is a cute little fellow!
