;One of these days I'll stay caught up on the blog if I can ever stop falling asleep at 8:30 every night!
Easter was so nice although a little chaotic this year. Our neighborhood had an Easter Egg hunt the weekend before Easter that we took James and Madie to. Madie was just out of the hospital for her dehydration the night before and looks so pale it makes me sad to look at them. However she loved getting out of the house even if she didn't seem to care about picking up the eggs
James on the other hand was thrilled. The past few years egg hunts have been so overwhelmed with kids and James is not the agressive egg hunter that he usually only ended up with one or two eggs. This year he practiced in our back yard first before we went on the egg hunt. Not that he needed to there were so many eggs and a small enough group of kids they all got a good turn out as you can see from his very full Easter basket.
Titus was only concerned with playing on the slide and running around. Eggs were not exciting as climbing to the top of the tall slide and scaring Mom.
Easter egg hunt #2
We also got to go to another egg hung put on by the reality company we bought our home through. This one was certainly more competitive but James was starting to get this figured out.
Madie enjoyed this one a little more and even got into the egg hunting.
Egg Coloring
We had a fun time coloring eggs Easter weekend. Titus loved it! We let him roll the eggs on dyed paper towel and he didn't want to stop.
Madie was starting to feel more like herself by now.
Easter Sunday was so nice. I love general conference weekend and to have Easter on the same Sunday was wonderful. We still dressed the kids up and took some Easter photos. We were so blessed to hear the words of the prophet and apostles and celebrate Easter.
