February!

Looks like I've got some catching up to do! Here are some highlights from February!

We took our yearly Valentine's Day pictures!  It is a bit crazy trying to get all the kids in a picture and looking at the camera but we have fun with it!.

Sometimes I wonder how we ended up with this tradition and sometimes it is a last minute craziness but I love having these pictures each year of of how much they truly do love each other. 

Meanwhile the rest of February was spent finishing the laundry room! I got an amazing early birthday present this year from my siblings and parents. They all chipped in some cash to help get the supplies to finish off my laundry room and landing. My parents came by and helped get all the sheet rock up and my sister Michelle came over nearly everyday for a week to help me mud, sand, and texture the walls. It was a fun learning experience for me as well as super exciting to look down the stairs and not see cracked concrete and open sires running through the walls. Here is the before and after shot.

 I love everything about how this turned out. The flooring the peach accent wall, my painted rug and late night laundry sign from scrap wood I found out in our shed.  I love having my ladder from Grandma Snow and the feeling of accomplishment for doing it ourselves!
