Vernal Trip

We made a quick trip down to Vernal for a few days  a few weeks ago for my cousin's wedding. The kids all thought it had been too long since our last visit with Grandma and Grandpa  so we left Wednesday after James got home from school and spent a few days relaxing and hanging out with cousins. Other than the cold wind that kept howling during the trip we all enjoyed the trip (except Aaron who stayed home to study and take his PE exam on Friday).
Levi is getting so big and loved banging on the pots and pans while we made meals.
James and his second cousin Alexis playing 'Little House on the Prairie' at the camp wagon.
Titus loved getting a chance to ride the horse. I loved having the view of Split Mountain.
James and his cousin Caleb playing on the tractor.
Madie really wanted a chance to ride the horse until you actually got close to it. Instead she liked to look at them on the other side of the fence with the safety of Grandpa Snow by her side.

While all the kids had fun playing, I had fun by getting my hair cut and I LOVE it!

Saturday we got to go to the wedding and reception of my cousin Morgan and his wife. The kids loved dancing around and James was sure to track down every girl his he thought was close to his age and ask her to dance. I am so glad we live close enough to make trips like these even if it means occasionally leaving Dad behind. (Honestly I think he rather enjoyed a quiet house and a full nights uninterrupted sleep. However I do not think he enjoyed taking an 8 hour test. We have still yet to hear back results from said test.)
