Accidents happen

So I guess we just like to keep things interesting around here or we have had a string of terrible luck but it is never dull at our house. To start things out we obviously had the fire at the end of February. Yes it is the middle of May and they are still trying to finish it up :( Then the Monday after general conference Titus decided to climb up on James bed and then while trying to climb down fell off and hit his head. We heard him fall and start crying. He couldn't walk very straight after and just wanted to climb up on my lap and go to sleep. It was 7 in the morning and he had been wide awake for a half hour already so this seemed out of place to me. Then around 8 he started throwing up so I knew I needed to take him to an ER. I figured they would do a CAT scan and send me home but since he was acting so lethargic it seem really out of place. It was spring break so fortunately we didn't have school do deal with and I dropped Madie and James off at a neighbors knowing Titus was going to be a handful himself. We went to the ER and they did a CAT scan looked things over and sent us home around noon. I hadn't had breakfast yet so we went and grabbed some lunch and headed home. Around 12:30 they called me back and said I needed to come back to the hospital.

The only thing Titus like about the hospital was getting smoothies
When we got back they said in one of the scans they saw blood on Titus's brain and they would need to take him to Primary Children's. At this point I got a hold of Aaron and he decided to meet me at the Riverton hospital. He was fortunately working only a short distance away compared to usually being in Park City. He met me at Riverton where they wanted to take Titus on the ambulance to Primary's. Since I had Levi with me I couldn't ride with him so Aaron did. The whole day had been exhausting and it was nap time for Titus anyway so he ended up sleeping most of the way to the hospital and I followed behind with Levi. Long story short they kept him overnight and we were finally released around noon the next day.  So far everything has been fine and he was back to to happy self the next morning playing hide and seek in the hospital closets.

However he wasn't a huge fan of doctors before this incident and really does not like them now. At his follow up a few weeks later with his pediatrician he was fine until the doctor wanted to actually listen to his heart and do an exam at which point he yelled at him "DON'T TOUCH ME". Our doctor is really good natured and said 'We'll it doesn't look like his language skills have been affected, Thanks good!" I had to bribe him with left over Easter candy to sit through the exam.
